  21.   Positano is located on the southern border of Italy on the Gulf of Salerno.
  22.  Known by insiders as an enchanting getaway with beautiful landscaping and
  23.  scenery with large patches of bougainvillea,a pinkish red flower,draped 
  24.  across the land and most of the villas.Since JNSE doesn't allow for a large
  25.  gathering of color without being offensive I settled for small patches.I also
  26.  stuck some forsythia in for good measure.
  27.   I was always fascinated with Pebble Beach,the look,feel and style of play 
  28.  but Bob Polin did such a good job with this course not once but twice that
  29.  there's really nothing much more to do.By the way Bob,the 2nd version is much
  30.  easier on us mere mortals.Anyway,I did the next best thing and that's make a
  31.  course that has some similar play.I also included some of the techniques I
  32.  used in making Mahoosuc Ridge one of my more popular course's.The course is
  33.  very short by my standard's and really not very difficult but just a couple
  34.  bad shots and you could be in for a long game.Where Augusta has Amen Corner,
  35.  Positano has Devil's Triangle.Now these holes like Amen Corner aren't that
  36.  difficult if played properly but a little wind and a slight miss .....
  37.   I played with the objects and BG for four weeks before finally being 
  38.  satisfied.If you find fault with either or let me know,there's plenty of 
  39.  spares.All are original except for an evergreen I had made for The Pavilion.
  40.   As always if you have any comments good or bad don't hesitate to let me know
  41.  but we all know you can't please everybody.I think you"ll find Positano fun
  42.  to play,colorful and challenging without driving you crazy.
